- <p> Yet another man named Ted Turner is making waves by
- sailing them. Pro yachtsman TED (Teddy) TURNER IV -- son of Ted
- III, media king and 1977 America's Cup capturer -- is gearing
- up for his toughest saltwater safari yet: next year's Whitbread
- Round the World Race. He ditched a career in Dad's TV empire for
- the privilege of circling the globe in a 60-ft. boat -- without
- regret: "The phones don't ring. You don't have to fight moving
- traffic." Dad's new wife Jane Fonda, the younger Turner
- observes, isn't really sailing material. Ah, but can Teddy
- smile and exercise at the same time?
